'There's some bad weather out there,' Captain MacWhirr said to himself just before he sailed his ship, the Nan-Shan, into the middle of the most terrible storm in the South China Sea. The Typhoon brings out the best in some men on the ship, and the worst in others. Can MacWhirr bring the ship through the storm safely? And what will happen to all the poor Chinese workers traveling home down in the ship's hold?

Two weeks ago, I got boat's operator license and I became to be interested in sea environment, that's why I chose this book to read last week. Since I was young, I go fishing with my family with my grand father's leisure  boat. After he's death, my parent's succeeded to his boat. From now on, I also do it. Anyway, through reading, I was reminded how fear the sea is again. My grand father was  actually sailor, so he told so many things and story about the sea. I remembered what he was saying. If you are also interested in the ocean, please read it.

SLA Junior Seminar 08: Anne of Green Gables

Marilla Cuthbert and her brother Matthew want to adopt an orphan, to help on the farm at Green Gables. They ask for a boy, but they get Anne, who has red hair and freckles, and who talks and talks and talk.  They didn't want a girl, but how can they send a child back, like an unwanted parcel? So Anne stays, and  engines a new life in the sleepy, quiet village of Avonlea in Canada. But it is not so quiet after Ann comes to live there...

Maybe you all have the Japanese version name of the book, Akage-no-Anne, at least one time. I actually know the name of the book, but only the name, I mean I have not read it before. So until I read it, I didn't know Anne go Green Gables is the original book of Akage-no-Anne. Through reading, I could get and know so many things from Ann, and I remember my experience when I was young, when I was doing everything that I want. If possible, I want to back to the past, childhood. If you feel same things, through reading the book, you can do it.

Yamauchi Sakura has been silently suffering from a pancreatic disease, and now exactly one person outside her family knows. He swears to her that he won't tell anyone what he learned, and the shared secret brings them closer together in this deeply moving, first-person story that traces their developing relationship in Sakura's final month of life. 

This book is about high school love romance story, but it also like story that I've never read before. I mean we can experience only reading, so through reading, I could get so many things like what we think or feel when an our girl friend is dying day by day, but we are falling love day by day. What can we do for her and for us? Maybe in the future, that case won't be happen but thinking and imagine that case is better for our life, so I recommend you to read it.

Within high fences

There was nothing different about that night. It was the same as every other night, I thought. But that night, my life started to change. I didn't know it then, but I know it now.

I read this book, because Kenya recommended me to read it. This story is about relationships between a woman named Nancy and her boyfriend Tom. One day, Nancy fall in love with an asylum seeker George at her workplace. And after few months, her house was ruined by some one. Old boy friend and other people insist that George did that. But actuary, the house was ruin by .....

How  do you act when your house are messed by someone, and only your best friend and your boyfriend have your duplicate keys? Which one do you doubt for the criminal? I have never experienced the situation before so I couldn't imagine, but now I lend my key for one of my friend, so I take care of :) But of course he wouldn't and that's why I did.
